Aaron Patzer, Dustin Moskovitz, Mark Zuckerberg, Joe Greenstein and so on are known as young millionaires who are rejecting the traditional symbols of status such as fast cars, yachts, luxury homes. Let’s find out more about the modest life of these young millionaires:
Aaron Patzer
The young millionaire lives in a 600-square-foot apartment which has only one bedroom in the city of Palo Alto in California, United States. There are an old couch and a television in this apartment. The favorite shoes of this 30-year-old millionaire are old and obsolete. Patzer used a 1996 Ford Contour until it ran 150,000 miles and was taken directly to landfill. His new car is a Subaru Outback that costs $29,000. We’d never know that Aaron Patzer sold his money-management site called “Mint.com” for $170 million in 2009 or that he is currently a top executive at Intuit, the financial-software company.

"Wealth needs a purpose greater than big houses and flashy cars." said Patzer, founder of Mint.com
Mark Zuckerberg
For years, Zuckerberg has lived in a tiny apartment with a mattress on the floor and dial-up Internet access. Although Zuckerberg spent $100 million to help the public schools in Newark, New Jersey last year, he has recently bought the first house in Palo Alto for just $7 million.

Mark Zuckerberg is one among several billionaires who are living below their means
Joe Greenstein
Although the 33-year-old millionaire Joe Greenstein sold his company Flixster to Time Warner for $80 million last month, he still lives in an apartment that he has rented for the past 10 years.

Greenstein said that he felt fortunate not to have to live paycheck to paycheck or worry about losing the job
Dustin Moskovitz
At the age of 27, Dustin Moskovitz is named as the youngest billionaire by Forbes. Moskovitz has enough money to buy any house he wants but this guy chose to live in a normal condo in San Francisco. Everyday, Moskovitz rides to work instead of driving his Volkswagen R32 hatchback.

"Things can't bring you happiness." Moskovitz said
Sean Parker
At 31, Sean Parker is known as a driving force behind Napster and Facebook. Parker is known to spend $13,000 on having dinner. He owns a $100000 Tesla electric sports car in Los Angeles and an Audi S5 in San Francisco. He also has a $20 million house in New York.

However, Parker also co-established Causes, a social networking service that encourages people to donate millions to nonprofits
