Modest Life of Young Millionaires

Aaron Patzer, Dustin Moskovitz, Mark Zuckerberg, Joe Greenstein and so on are known as young millionaires who are rejecting the traditional symbols of status such as fast cars, yachts, luxury homes. Let’s find out more about the modest life of these young millionaires:

Aaron Patzer

The young millionaire lives in a 600-square-foot apartment which has only one bedroom in the city of Palo Alto in California, United States. There are an old couch and a television in this apartment. The favorite shoes of this 30-year-old millionaire are old and obsolete. Patzer used a 1996 Ford Contour until it ran 150,000 miles and was taken directly to landfill. His new car is a Subaru Outback that costs $29,000. We’d never know that Aaron Patzer sold his money-management site called “Mint.com” for $170 million in 2009 or that he is currently a top executive at Intuit, the financial-software company.

Mark Zuckerberg

For years, Zuckerberg has lived in a tiny apartment with a mattress on the floor and dial-up Internet access. Although Zuckerberg spent $100 million to help the public schools in Newark, New Jersey last year, he has recently bought the first house in Palo Alto for just $7 million.
